You may have had various types of cheese ball before, but you never had anything like this. Just be careful because you might not be able to stop eating!
This cheese ball recipe is incredibly simple and fast to make. It's a serious hit at any party and can serve at least 8 people. With only a few ingredients and a couple steps, it's one of my all-time favorites. Note that this actually started out as one of my sisters recipes, but I have since made some adjustments over the years. Give it a try!
PREP TIME: 15 Minutes | COOK TIME: NO COOKING | SERVES: 8
Ingredients
2 - 8oz packages of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1/2 cup finely diced white onion
1 package Ranch Dressing Mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1 cup chopped walnuts
2-3 boxes of original Wheat Thin crackers
Directions
-
Combine all ingredients (except for walnuts and wheat thins) in a large mixing bowl
-
Mix together well with your hands and make sure to remove any rings first!
-
Form into a ball and place on a large plate.
-
Cover gently with plastic wrap and place into the refrigerator to chill until ready to serve. I recommend chilling for at least 30 minutes.
-
When ready to serve, press the chopped walnuts all over the outside of the cheese ball, covering it completely. Note that you can also try rolling the cheese ball in the walnuts instead of pressing them.
- Add the wheat thin crackers on the plate with the cheese ball and enjoy!
